Industrial Maintenance Technician - overnight shift
AT LEAST $25.00/hour base wages
$1.00/hour additional Shift 3 premium

What you will do:
• Maintain a safe and healthy environment, demonstrating safe behaviors at all times.
• Focus on Good Manufacturing and Food Safety practices in all work.
• Analyze mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic or electrical problems and make repairs through
adjustments, defective parts replacement, or fabrication.
• Wire moderately complex control circuits.
• Teach basic mechanical skills to line operators to support autonomous maintenance, MOS
(manufacturing operations system) functions, equipment set-up and center-lining.
• Drive or assist in fabrication, repairs, and install projects as necessary.
• Ability to quickly learn other functions pertaining to the job.
• Fabricate or replicate minor pieces for the repair or replacement of parts on equipment.
• Complete equipment changeovers and troubleshoot.
• Identify root causes of mechanical, electrical and control failures and resolve with effective
problem-solving tools with minimal downtime or supervision.
• Generate safety, productivity and continuous improvement ideas.

Experience Requirements:
- At least 2 years industrial maintenance experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment or equivalent education.
- Working knowledge of electrical, electronic controls, pneumatics, mechanical, and tooling.
- Self-motivated team player with the ability and willingness to make decisions, effectively communicate, problem solve and teach others.
- Troubleshooting, programing and PLC knowledge is a bonus.
- Lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds occasionally. Ability to frequently walk, kneel, squat, climb, bend, stoop, and twist. Ability to work in a variety of temperature and humidity conditions.
- Willing & Able to work overnight shift. Able to work OT as required.
- Advanced mechanical /electrical skills are a bonus
- Completion of Industrial Maintenance degree or certificate a plus
- Perform other duties as assigned that support the overall objective of the position.
