Job Summary:
The Industrial Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial machinery and equipment. This role requires strong technical skills in mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems, along with a proactive approach to safety and preventive maintenance.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance on industrial machinery, including [list specific equipment, e.G., conveyors, pumps, motors].
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems to minimize downtime.
- Conduct preventive maintenance on all machinery and equipment per established schedules.
- Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards.
- Collaborate with production teams to address maintenance needs promptly and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and inventory of spare parts.
- Diagnose and respond to emergency maintenance requests as needed.
- Follow safety protocols and help maintain a clean, organized work environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical school certification or trade qualification in industrial maintenance preferred.
- Minimum of [X] years of experience as an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic or similar role.
- Proficiency in reading technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment, work in confined spaces, and stand for extended periods.
- Familiarity with OSHA safety regulations is a plus.
