Trimar Controls LLC is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Industrial/Mechanical Controls Foreman with a strong HVAC and controls background. As an Industrial/Mechanical Controls Foreman, you will manage the deployment and implementation of building automation solutions for our diverse client base. This role requires daily project oversight, team leadership, resource scheduling, and ensuring quality control. You will play a pivotal role in driving the success of multiple complex projects and ensuring that they are executed to the highest standards, right the first time.

- Leadership & Supervision: Provide leadership and foster collaboration across project teams, working closely with technicians, project managers, and construction teams. Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Project Planning & Schedule: Develop detailed execution plans and weekly schedules. Plan pre-task, safety, and access requirements for each project.
- Drawings & Specifications: Work proficiently with electrical control schematics, mechanical layouts, and P&ID diagrams to ensure project compliance with specifications. Manage document changes, redlines, and as-built drawings.
- Technical Expertise: Apply strong knowledge of building automation controls, mechatronics, relay logic, controllers, instrumentation, and fire alarm systems in both commercial and industrial settings.
- Troubleshooting: Use expertise to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and OEM systems, ensuring smooth project execution.
- Quality Control & Assurance: Ensure all work meets project specifications and company standards, enforcing quality control throughout the project lifecycle.
- Installation & Deployment: Lead installation teams in the field, handling conduit, wiring, panels, and instrumentation installations.
- System Commissioning & Validation: Support system commissioning and client acceptance testing for successful project completion.
- (2) Years Technical or Vocational Degree preferred, but not required based on experience.
- Minimum (4) years of experience in building/industrial automation installation.
- Proficiency in building automation control loops, instrumentation, and field IO, with knowledge of P&ID's.
- Familiarity with Fire Alarm Systems is preferred.
- Strong understanding of Mechanical & Electrical Systems (MEP).
- Previous experience as a foreman or in field management.
- Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Construction software experience, including BlueBeam, ProCore, Microsoft, etc.
- Willingness to travel intra-state (South Carolina or SE Region), with up to 40% overnight stays. Transportation provided.
