Schedule: 40 hr work week. All Shifts. All shifts include Sunday work and overtime as scheduled.
Please note this position is 2nd Shift: 5:30pm to 6:00am, Work Days are Thursday – Sunday or Sunday – Wednesday. The schedule rotates every month, candidate will learn more in the interview.
Summary:
This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing equipment and company assets associated with pork processing while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
Troubleshoot facility and equipment problems that occur in the day-to-day operations.
Perform work that involves hydraulics, electrical, plumbing, conveyor maintenance, 3-phase wiring, AC/CD control wiring, welding, and pneumatic systems.
Set up, adjust, and break down production machinery. Preform scheduled preventative maintenance duties. Read and understand equipment manuals and instructions.
Complete daily reports and paperwork.
Work environments are wet and humid. Temperatures range from 35 to 90+ degrees.
Work includes climbing ladders, working from elevated platforms, standing, and walking on hard floors and occasional lift of 60 lbs.
Requirements:
Application and/or resume must show a minimum of 6 months’ experience and/or training in one of the following areas: Mechanical troubleshooting, Electrical/Electronic Troubleshooting, Hydraulic Troubleshooting, PLC Troubleshooting and Navigation, Welding/Fabrication, AC/DC Control Wiring, Motor Control, 3 Phase Wiring, Plumbing, Conveyor Maintenance, Hydraulics, Pneumatic systems.
