Your Role as an Industrial Mechanic/Millwright

As an Industrial Mechanic/Millwright with Prime Field Service, you'll be a key player in our field service operations, Prime Field Services. You'll be tasked with repairing, dismantling, reassembling, and lubricating industrial machinery, all while working closely with clients on-site across Utah. Our Salt Lake City base allows us to respond swiftly to customer needs, ensuring minimal downtime for their operations.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Repair and Maintenance: Restore and maintain industrial machines using assembly and detail drawings.
• Installation: Construct foundations and precisely assemble and attach machines to structures.
• Technical Analysis: Evaluate mechanical operations, connect power systems, and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Tool and Equipment Handling: Safely operate hoists, jacks, cranes, and other industrial tools.
• Precision Work: Layout equipment, insert shims, adjust tension, and ensure exact clearances.
• Collaborative Support: Work effectively as part of a team, communicating clearly and prioritizing safety.

What We're Looking For

• Experience: 2+ years in millwright or industrial mechanic roles.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency with rigging, cranes, heavy equipment, and blueprint interpretation.
• Tools: Personal set of millwright tools.
• Physical Ability: Capable of lifting 50+ pounds routinely.
• Location: Based in or near Salt Lake City, UT, with availability for travel as needed.
• Education: High school diploma or GED.
• Additional Skills: Layout, drilling, or light welding experience preferred but not mandatory.
