About the Job
We are currently working with a leading distributor of pumping equipment in Smith County, TX that is seeking an Outside Sales Account Manager responsible for managing customer accounts, building and maintaining relationships with clients, conducting sales presentations, and providing excellent customer service. They will also be responsible for inside sales and meeting sales targets.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Identify, qualify, and secure sales opportunities.
• Develop, nurture, and maintain close working relationships with the decision-makers with the assigned customers.
• Provide market intelligence to Inside Sales during quote preparation.
• Follow up and close quotes issued by Inside Sales.
• Promote sales and generate revenue from assigned accounts while meeting GP expectations. MUST HAVE POSITION REQUIREMENTS: • 5+ years of demonstrated ability to successfully sell the assigned products
• Ability to effectively present ideas and influence buying decisions
• Technical education and background.
EXPERIENCE THAT WOULD BE AN ASSET: • Pumping equipment
• Electrical – VFDs, control panels
Base pay range of $70-90k + commission
