Pay: $17 - $20/hr (Based on Experience)
Shift: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Switching to Night Shift: 5:30 PM – 3:30 AM / 5:30 AM during the fall)

Position Overview:

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Painter to join our team in Broken Arrow. This role involves preparing, sandblasting, and painting compressors and other equipment with minimal supervision. Candidates must complete an on-site test prior to hire.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cleaning & Preparation: Operate cleaning equipment to prepare surfaces for painting.
• Paint Application: Mix and apply paint systems to meet customer and company specifications.
• Sandblasting: Operate sandblasting equipment according to required standards.
• Masking & Feathering: Mask, feather, and prepare surfaces for painting; maintain tools and equipment.
• Readings & Measurements: Take DFT (Dry Film Thickness), Psychrometer, and Surface Temperature readings.
• Safety Compliance: Follow all HSSE guidelines for health, safety, security, and environmental standards.
• Heavy Equipment: Operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and other heavy equipment as needed.
• Flexibility: Willingness to assist other departments as required.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 2-5 years of relevant painting experience.
• Forklift Experience: At least 1 year of forklift operation.
• Heavy Equipment: Ability to operate scissor lifts, cranes, and forklifts.

Preferred Education:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent: Required.

Physical Demands:

• Inspection & Painting: Frequently inspect and paint equipment, using stairs or ladders.
• Lifting: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Outdoor Work: Must be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions and in non-air-conditioned facilities.
• Mobility: Ability to stoop, kneel, and crouch in confined spaces.
• PPE Compliance: Must wear all required PPE, including a full mask.
