INDUSTRIAL PUMP MECHANIC

Pump Mechanic Key Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Disassemble and inspect pumps for repair; list parts needed for repair and reassemble.
• Read prints, wiring schematics, and diagrams for all equipment.
• Maintain knowledge of operations and parts manuals associated with all equipment.
• Increase knowledge and expertise in a wide range of industrial pump products and related products.
• Educate customers on products, including replacement parts for peripheral equipment.
• Partner closely with other service technicians and local sales representatives.
• Travel to customer sites with the possibility of overnight travel and complete assignments within a reasonable time frame.
• Some overtime may be necessary.

Pump Mechanic Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED.
• Technical knowledge of pumps or 2 years of related industrial equipment.
• Excellent customer service, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
• Demonstrated ability to learn and utilize new knowledge about industrial equipment and electrical components.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team; self-motivated.
• Proven history of reliability and dependability.
• Basic skills in MS Office
