About the Job
Position Overview:
We are looking for a Sales Engineer with at least 5 years of technical sales experience, ideally with a background in industrial or commercial steam boiler/HVAC sales, or mechanical/electrical/chemical sales. This role involves managing long sales cycles, pursuing and following up on leads, and requires knowledge of governmental emissions regulations. The role also demands participation in trade shows and conferences, strong computer skills, and willingness to travel up to 25%, primarily within Northern Illinois and the surrounding area.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Business
• 5+ years of technical experience in the industrial commercial steam boiler/HVAC sales, or mechanical/electrical/chemical sales
• Proven success in presenting information to various audiences
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel
• Ability to multi-task
• Basic understanding of thermodynamics
• General knowledge of commercial steam systems
