Job Details:
4-day work week: hours are 5:30 am – 4:00 pm Monday – Thursday. Overtime on Fridays or during the week will be required at times due to the needs of the business.
This position is responsible for sewing pieces together to form a complete part. All candidates must pass a sewing test to be considered for the position and be responsible for seaming pre-cut patterns together, following precise instructions. Must be able to sew pre-sewn pieces together to form a complete part.
Job Duties:
- Must be able to use and maintain a high-speed, walking foot sewing machine.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with managers and leads.
- Must have good hand-eye – coordination.
- Must be able to trim finished seams when necessary.
- Must be able to use scissors.
- Keep work area clean and orderly.
- Follow the instruction of the Supervisor/foreman/lead.
- Work with a team to complete projects
- Inspects all parts so that they are complete and up to quality standards
- Any other duties as assigned by management.
- Must comply with all OSHA and safety procedures.

Tools used in this occupation include but are not limited to:
- Personal Protective Equipment- Safety Glasses
- Tools- industrial sewing machine and scissors.
Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience sewing thick material such as a military uniform, jeans or leather
- 1+ year experience working on an Industrial Sewing Machine
- Experienced with a double-stitch needle
- Experienced with a single needle
- Consew Sewing Machine experience a plus!
- Must be able to sit for extended periods of time
- Must be able to lift up to 30lbs when needed
- Able to work in a non-climate-controlled environment when necessary
- Good hand-eye coordination
- Attention to detail
- Must be able to understand instructional materials, work-related documents, and follow directions
- Must have good hand-eye coordination
- Must be able to perform tasks under deadlines
- Ability to communicate effectively with others
- Must demonstrate a strong work ethic
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is a plus!
