Industrial Shop Mechanic at Clean Harbors

Clean Harbors in Muncy, PA is looking for a Shop Mechanic with Industrial Experience to join their safety conscious team. Focuses on repairing, maintaining, dismantling, and moving large and/or complex stationary oil field equipment from centrifuges to pumps and panels. Problems typically are not routine and require analysis to understand. Mechanical experience, Lathe operations are preferred, electrical and welding experience are required.

  Responsibilities
  
  
  • Promote Clean Harbors safety, environmental and operations policies.
  • Ensures Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times.
  • Dismantles and inspects machinery and equipment using precision measuring equipment,
  • Aptitude for failure analysis
  • Ability to weld using MIG, TIG, Stick, Torch, and Plasma
  • Determines and performs required maintenance (cleaning, lubricating, aligning/adjusting parts, calibrating, etc.).
    
    Qualifications
    
    
    • Ability to perform physical functions per Key Responsibilities
    • High school diploma/GED or equivalent.
    • 3 years of mechanical repair experience.
    • Strong communications and interpersonal skills.
    • Valid Driver's License.
    • Mechanical aptitude and experience troubleshooting centrifuges, hydraulics, heavy equipment repair is preferred.
    • Welding experience required.
    • Strong aptitude in three phase electrical is required.
