The **Industry Advisor - Pharmaceutical and Life Sciences** will serve as a thought leader on Pharma and Life Sciences industry-focused sales within Microsoft and as the Industry subject matter expert in AI and Digital Transformation account planning. This role will act as a Life Sciences industry advisor to executive-level business decision makers. Microsoft's focus in the Life Sciences sector is marked by its commitment to advancing scientific research and healthcare through technology. Utilizing the foundation in cloud computing, AI, and data analytics, Microsoft provides tools and platforms that facilitate research, drug discovery, and the development of personalized medicine. Proactively seeks additional training, including information that adds to the understanding of customers' businesses, and shares it with team members. + Serves as industry communicator to translate industry knowledge for the account management team. + Collaborates with partners to identify future requirements and connect the partner ecosystems in efforts to scale business results. + Extends relationships with peers and senior team members across solution areas. + Proactively builds knowledge of Microsoft and industry solutions and capabilities. + Embody our Culture and Values **Qualifications** **Required:** + Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Health Sciences, Supply Chain, Education, Business or related field **AND 7+** years customer-facing experience in operations, enterprise-level improvement program management, product management, transportation, hospitality, automotive, consumer goods, financial services, retail, management consulting, consultative selling, public sector, Pharma, MedTech, or Life Sciences, technology or industry-relevant equivalent management or technical work experience + OR Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Health Sciences, Supply Chain, Education, Business or related field AND 5+ years customer-facing experience in operations, enterprise-level improvement program management, product management, transportation, hospitality, automotive, consumer goods, financial services, retail, management consulting, consultative selling, public sector, Pharma, MedTech, or Life Sciences technology or industry-relevant equivalent management or technical work experience + OR equivalent experience. **Preferred Qualifications** + Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Health Sciences, Supply Chain, Education, Business or related field **AND 10+** years customer-facing experience in operations, enterprise-level improvement program management, product management, transportation, hospitality, automotive, consumer goods, financial services, retail, management consulting, consultative selling, public sector, Pharma, MedTech, or Life Sciences technology or industry-relevant equivalent management or technical work experience + OR Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Health Sciences, Supply Chain, Education, Business or related field AND 7+ customer-facing experience in operations, enterprise-level improvement program management, product management, transportation, hospitality, automotive, consumer goods, financial services, retail, management consulting, consultative selling, public sector, Pharma, MedTech, or Life Sciences technology or industry-relevant equivalent management or technical work experience + OR equivalent experience. + 5+ years proven leadership of virtual sales teams and/or leadership experience + OR equivalent experience + 3+ years in Executive Business strategy Industry Advisory IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $130,000 - $217,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $168,600 - $237,500 per year.
