Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, direct, implement, manage, and operate infection prevention programs.
• Identify, investigate, monitor, and report healthcare-associated infections and communicable diseases.
• Collaborate with teams and individuals to create, educate, and sustain infection prevention strategies, and provide feedback.
• Conduct ongoing staff development, training, and quality assurance performance improvement monitoring to ensure adherence to organizational standards, professional guidelines, and state and federal regulations.

Requirements:

• State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• IP Certification
• 3+ years of experience in a healthcare facility or related setting
• Knowledgeable of the CDC’s National Healthcare Safety Network process
