Infection Preventionist | RN - Sunnyview Nursing Home

Part time position, approx 16 hours/week, with additional hours available as charge nurse.

Infection Control Nurse Duties:

• Be an active member of the interdiciplinary team
• Oversee the facility Infection Prevention & Control program (IPCP)
• Work closely with the Director of Nursing and Administrator
• Maintain policies and procedures that meet RIDOH requirements & CDC guidelines
• Complete general infection control rounds and follow-up on issues identified
• Train staff on infection prevention policies as needed
• Be an active member of the QAPI team and attend quarterly meetings
