Job Description:
We are looking for self-motivated Informatica ETL architects to drive innovations on technology interoperable platforms with Informatica ETL and ILM for enterprise customers in diverse industry verticals. Key focus areas would be Informatica ETL and ILM to drive Big data analytics, Next Best Action, and Internet of Everything
Responsibilities:
• Design and implement solutions to address business problems in various industry verticals.
• Drive Proof of Concept (POC) and Proof of Technology (POT) evaluation on interoperable technology platforms
• Train and mentor developers towards solution development and POC/POT execution
• Support presales engineering activities for ETL based RFPs
Qualifications:
Technical:
Must have:
• Ability to access the Information management framework and architect the solution using Informatica data integration suite.
• Proficient in Data warehousing concepts, operational data stores and associated data modelling
• Extensive knowledge of Informatica product suite and associated architecture
• Knowledge of Designing solution using Power Center, ILM using Informatica 9.0
• Experience in configuration and development of real-time interface using CDC, XML & MQ in Informatica 9.0
• Experience with metadata manager tool of Informatica and establish technical and operational metadata
• Architect and design for data archival engagements (e.g. Data archival for retiring applications, on-going data archival/live archiving) using Informatica ILM
• Create and develop Informatica ILM archive entities, processes and workflows
• Lead Informatica ILM engagements, responsible for end-to-end solution and technical deliverables.
• Proven ability to mentor at both ETL Development and design levels.
• Clear understanding of the RDBMS for both SMP and MPP databases.
Nice to have:
• Informatica administration activities, install and configure.
• Sizing and estimating, capacity planning of ETL platforms
• Establish ETL guidelines/templates, best practices & standards
Non-Technical:
Must have:
• Work with different technical and business stakeholders as needed during the entire tenure of an ILM engagement.
• Analytical and problem solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure with constantly changing priorities and deadlines.
Nice to have:
• Familiarity with project management and systems development life cycle processes, tools, concepts and methodologies is plus.
• Ability to work independently and as a team member.
