Job Description :
Outcome & Benefits:
The driving need for this position is to provide first line support of ETL admin mailbox support requests on tasks spanning all environments dev, qual, prod. This resource will be highly utilized for SnapLogic and Informatica support/upgrades activities assisting development teams on migrating code and troubleshooting technical issues. Given the relatively short versions support window (18-24months) for Informatica products, upgrades are becoming a 12-14 month recurring activity. This workload will continue to be fulfilled by utilizing contingent workers.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide administrative support for Informatica and SnapLogic platforms ensuring platform operational health
2. Assist in the planning and execution of Informatica and Snaplogic upgrades, AMI refreshes, patching etc.
3. ETL Admin mailbox support of requests 4. On call rotation 24x7 support 5. Troubleshoot/diagnose technical issues for resolution
Capability:
The technical skills required in support our Informatica products suite (Power Center, Data Quality, Information Life Cycle Management, Test Data Management, MDM, IICS), JAWS analytics and SnapLogic. Strong communication skills for customer engagement (development and TechOps support teams)
Long Term Strategy:
The driving need for this position is to provide first line support of ETL admin mailbox support requests on tasks spanning all environments dev, qual, prod. This resource will be highly utilized for Informatica upgrades activities assisting development teams on migrating code and troubleshooting technical issues.
Risk / Impact:
The absence of this contract resource would cause significant delay in the support of development team project requests. Additionally, maintenance activities such as monthly AMI refreshes, quarterly IICS upgrades, and other projects such as the Informatica and SnapLogic upgrades could be impacted as we may need to redirect resources to provide daily support.
