About the Job
Our client is seeking candidates for Information Security Site Lead to support a DoD customer where we are focused on delivering support to enable and maintain U.S. military network hygiene. Positions require onsite support at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, VA with frequent site visits to locations across the continental United States (CONUS).
- Lead and manage 2 Cyber Security professionals conducting vulnerability assessments.
- Evaluate complex base-level network environments to identify vulnerabilities and security risks.
- Provide detailed vulnerability and security assessments with actionable recommendations.
- Assist bases and units in preparing for Cyber Operational Risk Assessments.
- Develop and deliver network security best practices.
- Ensure all activities comply with relevant security policies, standards, and regulations.
- Prepare comprehensive reports on findings and present them to stakeholders.
- Travel: Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time to various sites as required.
Requirements:
- Possess a bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
- Possess at least three (3) years' experience in computer science or related field
- Possess 8570 IAT Level II Certification IAW 8570.01-M
- Possess an active Top Secret security clearance
- Prefer official JFHQ-DODIN inspector training
- Experienced with identifying, implementing and validating DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG)
- Experienced in one or more of the following technical and security domains: operating systems (Microsoft Windows Operating System (OS), Unix, Linux); Layer 2 switching; network and system security scanning; physical security; wireless communications; cross domain solution (CDS); virtualization; databases (SQL, relational, document); application servers; collaboration; cloud security; endpoint security; and more
- Experience with interfacing with various military agencies to resolve technical issues impacting directorate/unit users
