Technical experience:
- IP internetworking. Expertise in everything from BGP to packet forwarding behavior. IPv6 and IPv4. Overlay tunnels and security.
- Computer systems. Unix kernel architecture to system administration. Experience with Linux, *BSD
- Continuous delivery/integration management experience (Github Enterprise, Gerrit, Jenkins)
- Automation/configuration management experience (Puppet, Chef)
- Application tuning experience (Java virtual machine, MySQL database, Apache Tomcat)
- Security experience (AD/LDAP integration, SSL key and certificate management)
- Build tool experience (Ant, Make, Gulp)
- Scripting experience (Perl, Python, Unix shell, Javascript, VBscript, SQL, and/or Ruby)
- Web development experience (XML, HTML, CSS, JSON)
- API experience (REST, SOAP)
- Application monitoring and logging experience (Nagios, Splunk)
- Disaster recovery experience (planning, testing, and documentation)
- Network infrastructure experience (Firewalls, DHCP, DNS, NTP, LDAP, SSL)
- Agile software development experience (Scrum, Kanban, Lean)
- DevOps experience (Change Management, Incident Management, Problem Management, production Support, and Software Configuration Management)
- Ability to quickly produce proofs-of-concept, but with a vision of how to turn that into a stable, scalable and sustainable application
