Job Summary:
Supermicro Computer, Inc. is looking for an Information Systems Security Engineer in our headquarters located in San Jose, CA. We are seeking a highly motivated individual with a broad range of technical skills and expertise in instruction detection and artificial intelligence. The security engineer is responsible to streamline the network and security logs and leveraging the latest artificial learning model to enhance IT security monitoring
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):
• Streamline IT networking and security logs
• Analyze security logs and propose a good data set for security log
• Able to use different learning methods such Supervised, Unsupervised, Semi-supervised, or Reinforced
• Able to perform a detailed technical knowledge of network, cloud, and computer system security
• Perform effective security risk assessments
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment, with excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Prepare and document standard operating procedures and protocols
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in relevant area of study or equivalent educ/experience
• 1+ years of hands-on experience in information security environment, with prior experiences in high-tech corporate environment preferred
• Have extended research experience in using different learning models to train new data set
• Have experience in cybersecurity
• Have experience in writing security documents
• Problem solving skills and ability to work under pressure
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment, with excellent communication and collaboration skills
Salary Range
$85,000 - $133,000
The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
