Information Security Intern (Summer 2025) - Covenant Logistics

Position Overview:

The intern will gain significant knowledge in the logistics industry and gain real-world business experience and skills that will prepare them for their future career. This role will provide technical support and assistance to ensure the security of the company’s IT systems and infrastructure.

Responsibilities 

•  Shadow experienced professionals to gain insights into the industry and company operations.
• Collaborate cross functionally with other department to achieve mutual goals.
• Assist with vulnerability management project.
• Assist with the deployment of cybersecurity awareness training.
• Assist with data integration between different logistics software systems.
• Obtain an understanding of various technologies and how their use is integral to the operation.

Qualifications

• Ability to take verbal/written instruction and execute with confidence
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as a team when needed.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Pursuing higher education in computer science or similar field required. Junior or senior preferred

Competitive Compensation

 Covenant’s compensation philosophy’s intent is to use a competitive total compensation strategy to determine the current market value of a position while also considering individual factors such as performance in current position, time in seat of current position, experience, level of responsibility/accountability, and longevity with the company. The system will be objective and non-discriminatory. 

Pay Range: $13.57-$18.55 

Pay Grade: 1
