Covering a variety of business areas and needs, our internships are available to rising seniors in undergraduate programs. Engineered for personal and professional development, our summer program runs for ten weeks from early June through mid-August.
The Intern plays a key role in supporting various operations, with a focus on privileged access management, addressing unauthorized access risks, and assisting in the ongoing development and optimization of IAM applications and processes.
Job Description
Projects/responsibilities could include:
- Continuously monitor and manage Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems to enforce least-privilege access across the organization.
- Analyze and respond to access related security incidents, including the identification, investigation, and remediation of unauthorized access attempts, privilege escalations, and anomalous login patterns.
- Administer and maintain IAM policies, including configuring and optimizing Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-factor Authentication (MFA), Conditional Access (CA), and enterprise password policies.
- Assist in the administration of Privileged Access Management (PAM) platform to control and monitor elevated access to sensitive systems.
- Monitor IAM system performance, ensuring optimal application health and quickly addressing any issues that may arise.
- Create, update, and maintain IAM related procedure and process documentation to ensure compliance with security policies and regulatory standards.
- Develop and revise IAM technical and architectural documentation.
Qualifications:
- Junior standing with a minimum 3.0 GPA preferred.
- Background in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information System, or other related field
- Excellent organization, communication, analysis, and follow-up skills
- A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and collaborate
- Unrestricted permanent US work authorization
