JOB SUMMARY:
The Information Systems Administrator position is responsible for supporting end users on a variety of issues. This position identifies, researches and resolves technical problems. The Information Systems Administrator participates in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure. This particular opportunity is an entry level position that will focus on new user setup and machine provisioning.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) equivalent is required; Associate’s degree in Information Systems or related field and/or information systems experience is preferred.
Knowledge and/or experience in the following is preferred:
- Active Directory
- Helpdesk Duties Local & Remote
- E-mail administration
- Remote Desktop
- Backup & Recovery
- Administration of security systems (Access and Surveillance)
- New User Setup
- User Terminations
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provides technical support and guidance to users by responding to telephone calls, e-mails and personnel requests.
- Follows instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform functions of the job.
- Assists in the installation, maintenance, and general support of systems
- Documents, tracks and monitors the problem to ensure a timely resolution.
- Sets up, configures and supports internal and/or external computer and network operations.
- Recommends upgrades, patches and new applications and equipment.
- Maintains system efficiency.
- Recognizes patients’ rights and responsibilities and supports them in the performance of job duties; respects patient’s rights to privacy and confidentiality.
- Completes assigned paperwork/documents as directed in a timely manner.
- Shares knowledge gained with other staff members and works as a team member.
- Interacts with others in a positive, respectful, and considerate manner.
- Performs other job related duties as assigned.
