Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) - SilverEdge

This opening is for a Systems Engineer to coordinate efforts with personnel supporting other products. Daily tasks may include requirements analysis, engineering and design in an agile environment, analysis of alternative, data model development, support cloud technology adoption, developing user stories, planning and tracking software development activities, preparing and maintaining software development schedules, mentoring team members, performing impact assessments of new requirements or change requests, directing design activities, coordinating integration tasks, developing architecture and design artifacts, and managing risks. Additional duties may include preparing and presenting briefing slides, documenting/diagraming interfacing systems, providing status, leading and attending Technical Exchange Meetings, and recording minutes to convey information and actions.

Fourteen (14) years experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required.

Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

• Ability to create DoDAF and Systems Engineering artifacts. 
• Understanding of AWS concepts and its application
