Responsibilities for the IT Business Analyst:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and objectives.
- Conduct interviews, workshops, and surveys to gather detailed business requirements.
- Document and prioritize business requirements, ensuring they are clear, concise, and testable.
- Analyze business processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop detailed functional specifications, use cases, and process flow diagrams.
- Work closely with IT teams to design and implement solutions that meet business requirements.
- Support project planning and execution, including defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Develop and execute test plans to ensure that solutions meet business requirements.
- Provide training and support to end-users on new systems and processes.
Qualifications for the IT Business Analyst:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an IT Business Analyst or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of business processes and IT systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in business analysis tools and techniques.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with project management methodologies and tools is a plus.
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies is preferred.
- Azure, AWS, and GCP certifications or knowledge preferred.
- Candidate must be a US Citizen; Green Card holders are not allowed due to US Government contractual requirements.
- Must be comfortable working Eastern Standard Hours
Compensation/Benefits for the IT Business Analyst:
- Salary: $100,000 - $110,000
- Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k)
