Job Summary:
- Title: Infrastructure Analyst I
- Duration: 12 months
- Location: Charlotte, NC
- Primary tasks: enterprise level support of technologies for infrastructure and business applications, integrating software to support various hardware technologies, developing and maintaining routine work procedures, evaluating, acquiring, installing, and upgrading components.
- Planning, designing, installing, and/or supporting computer systems.
- Providing technical guidance related to software and hardware to IT staff.
- Developing standards for IT software and hardware.
- Assisting in the design and implementation of required systems.
- Coordinating hardware and software upgrades with other areas of IT or business units.
- Preparing activity and progress reports regarding individual and project activity.
- Staying updated on new hardware and software developments, evaluating alternative approaches, and recommending new software or upgrades.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline or equivalent work experience.
- 1-2 years of work experience.
- Practical experience with Operating Systems, Software, and Hardware.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to document work processes thoroughly.
- Ability to effectively prioritize activities and focus team efforts.
- Ability to research independently, multitask, and meet deadlines.
- Ability to build working relationships within the organization.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Responsibilities:
- Installing, configuring, and supporting Operating Systems on Windows Servers.
- Analyzing business processes, implementing process workflow.
- Managing Server Operating Systems, Hardware, and Provisioning.
- Participating in project teams to deliver quality server architectural solutions.
Desired Qualifications:
- Extensive knowledge with Linux Operating Systems - RHEL 7/8.
- Familiarity with Agile principles and practices, NERC CIP Security requirements, FootPrints & ServiceNow.
- Ability to learn/adapt quickly to changing environments.
- Expertise with Windows Operating Systems.
- Prior experience with change control processes.
- Experience with infrastructure support tools such as backup, Anti-malware, and patching.
- Excellent organizational and customer service skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage change.

Salary
30 - 36 /hour
