About the Job
Senior Infrastructure Architect with 10+ years of experience in solution architecture and infrastructure engineering. The role requires a candidate who can bridge the gap between the engineering and architecture teams, translating technical concepts and aligning infrastructure solutions with business requirements. The ideal candidate will collaborate with MIS and enterprise architecture teams to design and deliver solutions, document architecture, and recommend improvements.
Required Technical Skills/Experience:
•Advanced experience in solution architecture (10+ years)
•Infrastructure engineering experience (10+ years)
•Broad Technology experience
•High aptitude for solution design and architecture
Preferred Technical Skills/Experience:
•VMware ESX
•Converged Hyperconverged infrastructure
•Storage technologies
•Application integration technologies (Kafka, message queuing)
•Kubernetes
•Modern microservice development
•Service Bridge
•API Gateways and Management

•Written and verbal communication skills

Education Required:
•Bachelors
Certifications:
•ITIL Cert a plus

Senior Infrastructure Architect Key Responsibilities:
•MUST BE ABLE TO BRIDGE GAP BETWEEN ENGINEERING AND ARCHITECTURE TEAMS AND INTERPRET BETWEEN BOTH SIDES AND THEN PRESENT TO ENTIRE ORG
•NEED A DEEP KNOWLEDGE BASE AND BE ABLE TO SPEAK TO SKILL SETS IN TECHNICAL INTERVIEW
•As an Infrastructure and Platform Solutions Architect, you will be part of the Infrastructure and Platform Architecture team under the office of the CTO
•You will work with Solution Architects in the business MIS teams to help them design and deliver solutions aligned with approved delivery patterns and reference architectures
•In addition, you will work with enterprise architecture and engineering teams to help engineer and align infrastructure and platform solutions with business MIS team requirements
•As a trusted partner, you will consult, co-create, and document architecture designs that meet business and enterprise requirements
•Teams will count on you to identify, document, and recommend improvements to proposed designs
•Recommendations, tradeoffs, and opportunities for architecture enhancement, new technology, and reuse will be presented to architecture review forums and senior leadership as applicable
