We are currently accepting resumes for a Infrastructure Engineer Prin position in Columbus, OH.
This position is Hybrid.

The selected candidate will perform the following duties:
Part of a larger team delivering high quality Computer, Network, Storage and End-User Infrastructure technology solutions, on-going support to the business. Independently completes and leads infrastructure project assignments. Plan, research, evaluate, design, and engineer the enterprise's technology infrastructure. Provide technical support and troubleshooting, cost estimates, justifications, and recommendations. Produces technical documentation, support and configuration. Helps manage, plan, and maintain technical platforms including upgrading systems. Monitor system performance and install and configure hardware. Responsible for collaborating with other Job Families such as Project Managers, Architects, Solution Engineers, Technicians, Business Analysts to deliver consistent, reliable technology solutions that leverage client's technology standards, architectures and best practices.
Essential Job Functions & Tasks:
Working independently, responsibilities include the following related to Computer, Network, Storage, Cloud and End-User infrastructure:
1. Performs and leads complex infrastructure project assignments.
2. Plan, research, evaluate, design and analyze performance of complex infrastructure systems.
3. Provides advanced technical support and analysis, operation, administration, and troubleshooting activities.
4. Adhere and advocate change management policies, incident management and trouble response scenarios.
5. Prepare cost estimates, justifications, application requirements, alternative solutions, and technical recommendations.
6. Lead, facilitate, and coordinate work activities of others within the work group, team or department.
7. Prepare technical documentation including procedures, manuals, reports and standards.
8. Review and adhere to budgeting and approval processes while partaking in annual and project planning.
9. May provide training and mentoring, as well as work direction, to others on the team.
Basic Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical field is required.
Experience: 7 years of relevant work experience is required. An equivalent combination of education and related experience may be considered.
Additional Requirements:
1. Adhere to policies, procedures, standards, codes and regulations relevant to assignments.
2. Mentor and provide functional/technical leadership and work direction to staff
3. Demonstrate in-depth and thorough knowledge of client infrastructure, environment, components, and facilities to enable more efficient and comprehensive responses to projects and problems.
4. Exhibit and apply advanced proficiency in analysis, design, problem solving, troubleshooting, resolution, communication, and customer service skills.
We are seeking an experienced video conferencing engineer to join our team to deploy modern VC equipment in hundreds of rooms across our service territory. The candidate we are seeking has experience with design, engineering, coordinating with installers and troubleshooting systems.
Additional Skills Required:
- 4 years of video conf software engineering experience with modern tools
- Software experience in MS Teams & Zoom
- Physical hardware experience with Modern Video Conference Room equipment
- Network and Security protocols and configurations
- Candidate must highlight specific examples of engineering/design, implementation, user education/support, technical troubleshooting support with the 3 Technology areas listed above as they relate to Video conferencing
- Excellent Written and Verbal Skills
- This resource will be the only layer of technical support and is responsible for user education and support - this will include supporting/interfacing with individuals at all levels of the company.
- Must be a self-starter and highly motivated
- Timing to Fill the position: Need Resource to start work at client in early November 2024
- This Role will be a KEY resource

We are seeking a candidate in the greater Columbus, OH area and need someone who can work in a hybrid situation. We expect approximately 50% in office work to support installations and troubleshooting - in office time does not follow a set-schedule and will be as-needed at office locations in the greater Columbus area.
Contractor travel would be local within the Columbus, OH area (i.e. new albany offices, gahanna offices, etc.).
Potential for occasional after-hours work if an installation goes past normal business hours, but not expected to be a frequent occurrence and worker would typically take hours off later in the week to offset. No OT Expected, but could be possible occasionally if needed and pre-approved by manager.
Interviews will be 30-minute initial screening with manager and PM, followed by a 2nd round technical interview for selected candidates.
Please stay within max bill rate - may consider slightly above or make adjustments if needed for highly qualified candidates.
