Position Overview
Do you have experience working on a team to deploy configure, manage and support Endpoint Privilege Management solutions aligned with device and applications management? In this role, you will be part of an engineering team in the Client Device Management team, providing pre-production testing support, configuration, management and post deployment operational support for Endpoint Privilege Management. This will include deployment of the solution along with reviewing initial findings with the Device Management team and Client security to configure a baseline set of rules for go live. After the production launch of Endpoint Privilege Management solution, this role would review additional future configuration requests from the business units or security regularly and train and support tier 1 approvers. This is an exciting opportunity to help drive seamless employee experience on any device.
Responsibilities
• Deploy, configure and support Endpoint Privilege Management solution within Client on end user compute managed device fleet
• Plan for and execute on ongoing configurations and upgrades to the Endpoint Privilege Management solution
• Support ongoing requests to configuration changes to allow application elevation based on customer requirements and security recommendation
• Track and report metrics related to operations and deployment including key performance indicators as determined with stakeholders
• Collaborate with security, engineers and other IT support groups through proposal and delivery of a deployment
• Work on reviews of the configurations as approved in the solution for audit purposes with endpoint security engineers, business units and device engineers as needed.
• Leverage device management services such as Microsoft Intune and JAMF to deploy applications using security groups, deployment collections or smart/static groups.
• Use Service Now and JIRA to track work related tasks from start to end.
• Work closely with the Device Management engineers daily providing feedback on testing results, troubleshooting and any escalations that may need more engineering efforts or additional support.
• Participate in agile project methodology the ensure delivery of team and individual project tasks
Minimum Qualifications
• Working knowledge of Windows 10/11 and MacOS
• Working knowledge of an Endpoint Privilege Management solutions
• Minimum 1-2 years’ experience with Endpoint Privilege Management tool
• Knowledge of device management technologies – Intune, JAMF, SCCM
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in device management and/or device support
• Bachelors’ degree
• Strong communication skills, time management skills, ability to be agile and switch between tasks based on importance and priority
• Able to work independently or well within a team and able to understand and prioritize work successfully for execution of work
Preferred Qualifications
• Able to solve complex problems using creative supportable solutions
• 2-3 years’ experience in device management and/or Endpoint Privilege Management support or engineering role
• Worked on large scale deployment projects in either a lead capacity or high level contributor
• Able to proactively calculate risks and take a risk based action approach to solving problems based on information gathered
• Experience with managing security and compliance features, including security baselines, device compliance, limited access, and Microsoft Defender for Endpoint Protection.
• Microsoft, Mac or Security certifications
