We are seeking an Infrastructure Project Manager to join one of our Fortune 500 clients. This role offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and can be based in either Charlotte, NC or Plano, TX, with a hybrid work schedule.
Title: Infrastructure Project Manager
Location: Hybrid Plano, TX or Charlotte, NC
Pay: $50.67 to 60 W2 hourly
Duration: 12 months contract
The Infrastructure Project Manager is responsible for overseeing infrastructure service solutions, including network management, midrange server administration, storage systems, capacity planning, and performance monitoring. The role involves close collaboration with teams in Environments Management, Release Management, Performance Testing, and Capacity Management to deliver Pre-Production and Production environments. Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on infrastructure services.
- Bachelors degree (4-year degree required).
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead capital forecasting, infrastructure planning, and procurement for technology products and services.
- Provide resource and capital estimates to support client-driven initiatives. Manage Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), milestones, status reporting, and risk/issue management with effective mitigation strategies.
- Coordinate with design, build, application, and network services teams to deliver innovative technology solutions.
- Understand customer tactical goals and contribute to the development and execution of business solutions.
- Proactively manage project risks through detailed assessment and mitigation planning. Oversee work efforts of multiple functional teams, ensuring alignment with project plans.
- Establish and maintain scope control procedures and ensure proper documentation of project processes.
- Monitor and report on project performance, ensuring the quality of deliverables and services. Maintain active reporting relationships with stakeholders, gathering feedback and aligning project objectives across multiple business units.
- Analyze and report project status, ensuring timely resolution of operational issues and Requests for Information (RFIs).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate multi-project initiatives and remove obstacles to project success.
- Assist in the development of contingency plans and project budgets, ensuring compliance with financial practices.
