Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage multiple projects primarily focused on technology infrastructure.
- Technology infrastructure will include Network, Telephony, Desktop, primarily focused on facilities related efforts, such as retail stores or Wi-Fi upgrades.
- Responsible for the oversight and tracking of all financial elements within the project.
- Ensure that scope is maintained, and appropriate change control applied if scope changes.
- Risk and issue management, as well as cross project dependency awareness and management.
- Efficient escalation of risks/issues that have project impacts.
- Work closely with external partners (vendors) on the planning and execution of project deliverables and timelines.
- Communication of project status, roadblocks, and risks to appropriate stakeholders.
Qualifications
- 5-7 years of IT project planning and management experience
- Firm understanding of project management principles (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid, SDLC)
- Prior experience delivering technology project, with a preference towards infrastructure
- Knowledge and understanding specific to technology infrastructure and preferably facilities build/construction from a technology standpoint
- Ability to quickly understand and engage on the project
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to influence without direct authority
- Excellent problem-solving skills; Risk and Issue mitigation/resolution
- PMP Certification preferred
