Overview:
We are actively seeking an Infrastructure Project Manager with a proven track record in leading significant strategic projects, including the development and construction of cutting-edge facilities such as warehouses and high-tech video conference rooms. The ideal candidate will possess extensive project management expertise and technical knowledge to drive successful project completions, making a substantial impact on our client’s success.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the full lifecycle of infrastructure and data center projects, from initial conception through to completion, including overseeing construction activities.
- Plan, design, and implement projects involving warehouse setups and sophisticated video conference rooms, leveraging Cisco networking technologies such as Catalyst switches and ISR routers, as well as advanced voice and video systems including Cisco Unified Communications Manager and Cisco TelePresence.
- Establish and maintain clear lines of communication with all project stakeholders to ensure smooth progress and timely updates.
- Employ Agile methodologies to guide project teams toward the efficient and effective delivery of construction and technology deployment objectives.
- Oversee budgeting and resource allocation, ensuring projects are completed within set budgets and timelines.
- Proactively identify and address potential project risks, particularly those related to construction and IT infrastructure, maintaining compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.
- Seamlessly integrate various system architectures to meet both business and technical requirements, including network infrastructure, VoIP systems, video conferencing technologies, and cloud services.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a relevant field, with Project Management (PMI) and Agile certifications highly preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in managing complex technical projects, particularly in the realms of facility construction and high-tech video conferencing installations.
- Proficient with Project Portfolio Management (PPM) tools, Microsoft Office Suite, Procore, and knowledgeable in the permitting processes for new constructions.
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to foster collaboration across diverse teams.
- Deep understanding of low voltage systems, structured cabling, PDUs, and expert knowledge of Cisco networking technologies.
- Demonstrated commitment to upholding industry standards and regulatory requirements in facility construction and tech setup projects.
