About the Job
Our client, a family-owned Midwestern grocery/retailer striving to better people's lives in all communities, is seeking a Junior-level Infrastructure Project Manager.
Location: Hybrid onsite in West MI
Start Date estimate: 1/15/2025
End Date estimate: 2/1/2026
Equipment will be provided.
Job Description:
- The ideal candidate for this role has 0 to 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Manages the entire project lifecycle from project definition through implementation.
- Accountable for meeting agreed-upon scope, cost, schedule, and quality measures.
- Develops project plan and drives project milestones.
- Establishes effective communication plan with the project team and key stakeholders.
- Provides day-to-day direction to project resources.
- Ensures effective change management occurs throughout the project.
- Responsible for the preparation of documentation, status reports, and budgets.
- The role requires excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, negotiation, project planning, judgment, leadership, decision-making, analysis, and problem-solving skills.
- Specialized knowledge of MS Project, Visio, Excel, and Word
Job Skills:
- Any SAFe certification (SSM, SASM, SA, SPC, SPMPO) preferred.
- Knowledge of agile practices
- Understanding and development of comprehensive project plans including timelines, budget, and people allocation related to network, compute, storage, and cloud technologies with multiple vendors at multiple locations simultaneously
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with an ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms.
- Solid teamwork and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well on cross-functional project teams and foster team commitment to tasks.
- Ability to communicate across and up through senior leadership
- Any infrastructure and operations technical experience in previous roles such as application engineer, developer, etc.
Job Skills:
