Infusion Pharmacy Technician - Allmed Staffing Inc

Large managed care company is looking for an Infusion Pharmacy Technician with great customer service skills and sterile compounding experience

WORK LOCATION: 2685 Patton Road, Roseville, MN 55113

PAY: $22.00

CONTRACT DATES: ASAP to 12/31/24

HOURS: Mon-Fri, 8-hour shift between 7:30am and 6pm. OT as needed

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform Sterile compounding according to company policy and regulations including USP 797 and USP 800
• Call patients and answer phones
• Dispense unit doses, specialty pharmaceuticals, injectables, IV and related supplies
• Participate in completing and documenting all cleaning and monitoring activities identified for areas related to sterile compounding including daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning requirements
• Work within a team to triage and respond to all pharmacy needs promptly

QUALIFICATIONS

• Highschool/GED or equivalent
• Must have active, and unrestricted MN Pharm Tech License
• Pharmacy experience (hospital or home infusion experience preferred)
• Experience with sterile compounding
• Ability to work independently to solve high-stakes problems
• 1+ years’ experience as a pharmacy technician
• Certified Compounded Sterile Preparations Technician (CSPT) certification is a plus
• Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification is a plus
• 1+ years of consistent sterile compounding experience is a plus
