Title: Injection Molding Technician
Shift: Day shift, there will be travel to FL on and off until June of 2025
Pay: $28-$33+ (depending on experience)

About our Client:
Our client is a high volume manufacturer and supplier of over seven million air flow products around the world.
Travel Requirements:
This individual will be required to travel to Florida intermittently from the start of their role through June 2025. These trips will typically range from a few days to a week, with prior notice provided as needed. During this time, the individual will be training on new equipment in Florida and will play a key role in assisting with the transition of the equipment to the Ohio location in June 2025. The candidate must be adaptable, proactive, flexible and ready to help shape new processes and training procedures for this evolving position.
Injection Molding Technician Responsibilities:
- Sets-up injection molding machines according to production process specifications
- Performs mold changes, to include core & cavity and inserts in MUD style mold bases, changes and equipment changeovers, efficiently.
- Monitors production processes and adjusts as needed to ensure quality standards are met.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machines, molds, and processes.
- Conducts routine maintenance and preventive care on equipment.
- Inspect finished products for quality and conformity to specifications.
- Document production data, process parameters, and quality metrics.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company procedures.
- Train and mentor junior operators or technicians.

About you:
- High school diploma or equivalent, associate’s degree in plastics technology a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in injection molding or related field.
- Strong understanding of injection molding processes and equipment.
- Experienced in reading blueprints and technical documentation.
- Experience with quality control tools and techniques (e.g., calipers, micrometers)
- Knowledge of plastic materials and their properties.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and ISO standards.
- Proven problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Physical ability to lift 50lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Ability to operating lifting equipment, including cranes and die cart lifts.
- Experience with robotics and automation in injection molding
- Understanding of scientific molding principles
- Experience driving forklift
- Basic computer skills for data entry and report generation
