Compensation: $62,000 - $75,000

Location; Remote

• The Injury Counselor position is responsible for coordinating the Company's Workers Compensation claims handling.
• Improve the quality of company's Workers Compensation claim handling practices and ensure that this quality of claim handling is consistent for all associates.
• Interview, counsel and build positive relationships with injured associates
• Vet clinics and arrange for associate's care
• Monitor and encourage associate's adherence to the prescribed therapy
• Facilitate communications with claims adjusters, frontline managers and others involved in cases
• Ensure compliance with the company's Stay-At-Work program.
• Identify cases requiring medical management or additional interventions

• Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
• Strong oral and written communication skills is a must
• Organizational and follow-up skills
• Computer operating skills
• Tenacious "won't take no for an answer" personality trait
• Empathetic listening skills coupled with innate curiosity
• Ability to work with all levels of business contacts
• Pleasant and clear telephone speaking voice
• Backgrounds including: Counseling, Telephone Sales, or Customer Service preferred
• Bilingual preferred
