We are searching for a talented Injury Prevention-Ergonomic Specialist
Hours: 40hrs
Shift: Day/Evening shift with weekend and holiday rotation; 9:00am - 6:00pm
Location: Athletic Training Center – Dartmouth, MA
Travel: Driving on average 3 or more times per week required

**Available to regular status employees who are scheduled to work a minimum of 24 hours.

Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.
Responsibilities:Under direction of the Manager, Employee Health and Ergonomics, perform a wide variety of duties both within and in support of the Employee & Occupational Health Departments. Design and Implement injury prevention services and programs tailored to specific ergonomics hazards of the hospital and/or Occupational Health client companies. Also provide Athletic Training outreach services to contracted high schools.Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Exercise Physiology, Athletic Training or a related field is required.
- The position requires the ability to utilize appropriate equipment including lap top computers and digital cameras as well as experience in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Over three years of related work experience is required.
- Certification in Ergonomics is recommended.
- CPR Certification is required.
- BOC Certification required.
- Licensure as an Athletic Trainer in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts required.
- CPR Instructor certification recommended.
- Certification in Ergonomics is recommended.
