This role is HYBRID in one of these locations: Charlotte, NC / Columbus, OH / Cleveland, OH / Minneapolis, MN / Detroit, MI / Chicago, IL / Pittsburgh, PA / Dallas, TX
Will be responsible for driving innovation initiatives, designing cutting-edge technology solutions, and creating a roadmap for leveraging new technologies to enhance our service offerings. This role requires a deep understanding of the financial services landscape, emerging technologies, and a passion for fostering a culture of innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze products and technology for applicability to the enterprise and evolution of the estate
- Design, document, and/or develop technology/frameworks/platforms for consumption by the architecture, development, and technical organizations.
- Mature depth of evaluations, documentation, and implementation through iteration.
- Conduct and document evaluations of products, systems, and software for the architectural and technical domains including interfaces, architecture, underlying services, dependencies, and deficiencies and limitations.
- Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of high-performance, scalable, and innovative solutions.
- Provide leadership, technical expertise, and advice in team meetings.
- Consistently and continuously fosters and supports a culture of continuous improvement and learning across the organization.
- Mentor technical delivery staff.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to identify areas for innovation and improvement.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:
- Foster a collaborative environment to encourage creative thinking and problem-solving across departments.
- Present innovation proposals, business cases, and project outcomes to leadership and key stakeholders
Emerging Technology Expertise:
- Stay up-to-date with cutting-edge technologies and industry best practices.
- Evaluate the potential of emerging technologies (e.g., AI, blockchain, IoT, machine learning, etc.) to improve operations or create new products and services.
- Provide guidance on how to integrate innovative technologies with existing systems and processes
Cultural Transformation:
- Promote an innovation-driven culture within the organization by encouraging experimentation and risk-taking.
- Develop programs and workshops to inspire creativity and innovative thinking across teams.
- Mentor and coach teams on innovation methodologies such as Design Thinking, Agile, and Lean Startup.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in innovation, solution architecture, product development, or related fields.

- Excellent leadership and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a creative and forward-thinking mindset.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong understanding of financial services products, processes, and regulatory requirements.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing innovative technology solutions.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with diverse teams.
- Experience in cloud, programming, and data platforms.
- Knowledge of fintech innovations and emerging technologies applicable to financial services.
- Experience with agile methodologies and project management frameworks.
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., TOGAF, ITIL, or similar) are a plus.
- Strong understanding of financial services products, processes, and regulatory requirements.
