Job Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Inserter Machine Operator to join our warehouse team on the third shift. This role involves operating high-speed inserter machines to ensure efficient handling of materials in a dynamic, fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate is comfortable with physical activity, possesses basic computer skills, and demonstrates strong attention to detail and quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate high-speed inserter machines, including loading materials, clearing jams, and unloading and organizing completed pieces.
• Perform various support tasks such as copier operation, bindery, quality control, facility maintenance, and mailroom duties as needed.
• Maintain and operate high-end production equipment, ensuring setup, calibration, and performance meet company standards.
• Consistently prepare, inspect, and assemble materials to meet quality standards and deadlines.
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic equipment issues (clearing jams, refilling supplies) to maintain productivity.
• Organize jobs, validate information, and ensure accurate execution by following specific job instructions.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a warehouse or machine operator role with consistent employment history.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move continuously throughout the shift; capable of lifting up to 50 lbs independently.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating effectively in English.
• Basic PC skills for operational tasks; ability to transfer files electronically as needed.
• Professional presentation and adherence to business casual dress code.

• Commitment to attendance, punctuality, and maintaining a positive attitude.
• No cell phones permitted on the warehouse floor.
• COVID-19 vaccination may be required for future full-time employment consideration.

Note: This is primarily a temporary role to fill in for employees on leave, but there is potential for full-time employment based on performance, attendance, and business needs.
