Kinetics Noise Control is looking for tech savvy individuals to excel in a solution based, customer focused sales position. KNC is an industry leading manufacturer of products addressing acoustics and noise control for the commercial and residential building markets. The Home Market specializes in all residential acoustics, but mostly that of high-end Home Theater applications!
What you can expect in this role with Kinetics:
- You’ll work with our rep partners and customers to advise proper treatment of residential spaces and prepare timely quotes for projects, performing takeoffs, as required, from sketches, blueprints, & for the purpose of generating estimates.
- You’ll maintain customer, project, and product files, as required, to ensure information is current and relevant.
- You’ll work with our engineering team to produce orders for submission to customer service, purchasing and manufacturing.
- You’ll provide excellent product information support and application advice to Customers, Dealers, and Representatives.
- You’ll utilize Auto Cad programs for drawings and quotations, read construction drawings and interpret construction/contracting subject matter.
- You’ll support customer installation efforts by coordinating orders with manufacturing, customers, and installers.
- You’ll collaborate with the Home Market Manager and team to meet deadlines and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
- You’ll play a key role in the creation and maintenance of databases and spread sheets, development of website and literature content, coordinate mailings of binders, literature, samples, and product/job information.
- You’ll champion recommendations to ensure continued aggressive market growth.
- You’ll assist with trade show arrangements and supplies and attend trade shows and support follow-up sales efforts.
Supervision:
Received: General. Works independently within accepted guidelines. Receives occasional close/specific supervision from Market Manager
Given: No direct supervision. May assist in training of new or transferred employee.
Education/Experience:
A college degree in a related field and/or 3-5 years of related job experience may be required. Experience with computers and the ability to use Microsoft Office products is necessary. Familiarity with Auto Cad and basic construction practices including interpreting engineered drawings and documents is preferred.

Able to communicate verbally and in writing in a professional manner as to work requirements, work in progress, and discrepancy issues. Interacts verbally and in writing with other employees, members of management, customers, and others. Must demonstrate tact, diplomacy, professionalism, and positive demeanor in performance of duties.
Reasoning Ability:
Able to follow instructions and/or directions requiring normal to extended periods of concentration. Requires ability to follow a course/sequence of action within specified procedures and to logically think through error issues in order to resolve or contact appropriate source. Must maintain normal mental alertness to accurate completion of essential job responsibilities. Must be able to organize work well to ensure attention to detail and follow through.
Licenses/Certifications:
Valid drivers license with good driving record and current full-coverage automobile insurance. Passport may be required for International travel as needed.
Physical Demands:
Routine physical demands for office environment. Operates personal computer, copier, facsimile machine, printer, calculator, telephone. Some prolonged periods of sitting and occasional lifting of boxes (up to 25 pounds) may be required. Must be able to traverse outside from office located at 6279 Shier Rings to main office and plant located at 6300 Irelan Place, as needed.
Work Environment:
Office. Exposed to minimal hazards. Hybrid work from home option once training completed and approved by reporting manager.
Additional Information:
Work Location: Corporate facility Dublin, OH; Working Hours: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. or more if required to meet deadlines. Must be reliable. Generally responsible for the safety of own work area. Safety glasses and proper footwear required in manufacturing areas.
