- Be responsible for weekly results focused on business development objectives, account activity, and outbound calls
- When the book of business shows necessary support, you will lead and delegate operational functions to a Logistics Coordinator who will be assigned to help exclusively with your load board
- Strategize and communicate account goals and objectives to maximize account growth
- Negotiate rates and contracts with customers, carriers, and other various parties
- Ensure customer and carrier satisfaction 24/7/365
- Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to problem-solve and find a solution in a timely manner
- The motivation and determination to succeed in a self-sufficient role where you are trusted to get the work done without being micromanaged
- Sales and/or 3PL experience is preferred, but some of our most successful Account Executives have come from restaurant, landscaping, or academic backgrounds, among others
- Eagerness to grow and develop personally, professionally, and financially
- Commissioned sales reps earned $230K ON AVERAGE last year
- This job is hard. There is no sugarcoating it. This job can feel overwhelming, but the highly successful people do it because they truly believe in what they are selling, and they earn more money than they ever have in their life.
