Responsibilities and Qualifications:
The Inside Sales Manager will lead and develop a high performing inside sales team, responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding market presence within key product areas. As a critical member of the Acute Sales leadership team, the Inside Sales Manager will play a key role in executing go-to-market strategies and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to identify new growth opportunities. This role requires a blend of sales expertise, leadership skills, and a strategic mindset to foster a high-performing, results-driven culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Build a High-Performing Team: Lead, coach, and develop a motivated inside sales team, fostering a positive, achievement-focused culture.
- Fosters a culture of accountability and execution based on clear expectations and inspection
- Strategy Execution: Design, implement, and execute the inside sales strategy aligned with business goals, working closely with divisional leaders to drive organic growth.
- Sales Process Management: Establish and maintain an operating cadence to ensure high team performance, with key metrics and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to measure success.
- Pipeline Reviews: Conduct weekly reviews leveraging CRM and Power BI to track sales activities, customer engagement, category mix, and growth by account.
- Forecasting & Quota Management: Monitor individual and team performance, ensuring quotas are met and achieved through proactive coaching and adjustment.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate effectively across a matrixed organization, influencing key stakeholders on processes, target setting, and best practices.
- Recruiting & Onboarding: Attract, recruit, and onboard talented Inside Sales Representatives to build a strong team.
- Change Leadership: Drive the adoption of technology platforms and lead team members through process and system changes.
- Reporting & Analytics: Utilize sales analytics to present insights to internal stakeholders and optimize the sales model.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for growth and process improvements, implementing best practices to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Who We Are Looking For
- Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing sales teams.
- Strong coaching and motivational skills with a focus on accountability and continuous improvement.
- Experience in a matrixed organization with the ability to collaborate and influence across departments.
- Prior success in an inside sales leadership role within a healthcare, medical device, or distribution setting is preferred.
- Strong CRM experience, particularly with applications like Microsoft Dynamics, and proficiency in using analytics tools like Power BI.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to recruit, develop, and retain top talent.
- Results-oriented with strong project management skills and a drive to meet or exceed sales targets.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
- 5+ years of experience in sales or inside sales, with a proven track record of exceeding quota expectations in a B2B environment.
- 1-3 years of experience in a supervisory or team leadership role, preferably within a regulated industry.
- Strong proficiency in sales automation tools and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Work Model
This role will follow a hybrid work schedule based out of our Dublin, OH office. Regular travel may be required to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
