AMTRACO is a global holding company headquartered in Franksville, WI, that manages the shared services of HR, IT, and Finance for its operating units. The four distinct operating units owned by AMTRACO are:
EPSI – a distribution company servicing the surface finishing industry with presence in all major global markets.
STM – a manufacturer of pressure sensitive adhesive tapes
FAST – a distributor of tapes and related products for the framing, architectural, signs, and trophy markets.
SBM – a commercial real estate company that buys, develops, and leases commercial real estate.

Inside sales representatives at EPSI understand that sales is a numbers game; the individual who can combine the most at bats with the highest win percentage are the ones that make the most money.
The right candidate for inside sales at EPSI knows that in order to take care of the customer you must first sell the customer every time on why EPSI is the right choice for their surface finishing needs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ability to quickly develop rapport and maintain strong working relationships with existing customers who can buy more or prospects who have yet to become customers.
- Ability to articulate ideas in a clear, concise manner.
- Excellent skills in the art of persuasion.
- Fierce follow up skills, understanding that on average it will take 6 “touches” to turn a prospect into a buying customer.
- If attention to detail is not a strength be able to utilize EPSI’s extensive customer service team to ensure that nothing falls through the cracks that impacts the customer’s ability to buy.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working business to business environments required.
- Experience working in the surface finishing industry a major plus.
- Other duties as assigned
SUPERVISION
- If you need to be supervised you are not the right person for this job. We are looking for team members who are experienced in the organization and self-discipline that successful sales people require.
If you do not have this experience we can teach you but we cannot give you the discipline required to follow our proven system of success.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Prove your previous sales success and / or prove why you have the discipline and drive to be successful.
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES
- Able to prioritize and the ability to “smell” where the best opportunities are.
- Proficient in the use of a personal computer and various software applications.
- Self-motivated needing minimal direction.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Above average verbal and written communication skills.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENT
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
