Inside Sales Representative
Our client, a reputable construction company in the area is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to join their team. The Inside Sales Representative position is responsible for estimating, selling and engineering material for customers under the supervision and direction of the Engineer Sales Manager.
Inside Sales Representative Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Primary sales contact for walk-ins and phone calls for order entry tickets.
- Demonstrates strong time management skills to meet strict proposal deadlines
- Communicates clearly and timely with customers, vendors, engineers, and fellow departments via phone, email, and in person
- Develop and maintain relationships with customer accounts.
- Collaborating with customers, contractors, engineers and architects to provide economical solutions for competitive budget pricing.
- Responsible for developing layout and analysis of steel structures for the purpose of structural steel member selection that is in accordance with current design procedures, codes and specifications.
Inside Sales Representative Job Requirements
- Attention to Detail, required.
- Written and verbal communication skills, required.
- Organization and time management skills, required.
- Previous experience working with PC’s, including office software, required.
- Previous experience working with CADD Software, Tekla EPM and steel detailing software, preferred.
- Working knowledge of standard AISC connections, preferred.
- Comprehension of construction documents including but not limited to drawings, specifications, scope documents and bid forms, preferred.
Education
- High School diploma or Equivalent, required.
- Two Year Associates Degree in Architectural Drafting, preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering, preferred.
