About the Job
The Inside Sales Rep is responsible for the day-to-day sales functions such as order entry, order expediting, and problem resolution as well as having a constant awareness of impact on profits. This position is responsible for developing and building key relationships with customers. The ISR works closely with their corresponding sales and operations team to ensure that customer's needs are met. They are also responsible for servicing all needs of our customers and providing first class customer service to both internal and external customers. The ideal candidate has the ability to build customer relationships and through communication, integrity and trust, strives for 100% customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Performs order entry, order tracking, status review, and gathering market intelligence.
- Responsible for customer communication (phone, e-mail, fax).
- Coordinates timely and accurate shipments.
- Provides daily communication and status updates with sales and operations.
- Coordinates with supply chain and operations on material flow and inventory levels.
- Enters material information and manages price accuracy.
- Serves as the initial contact on customer claims, and quotes.
- Diagnose and resolve customer product issues and questions.
- Provides account coverage for out of office team members.
- Demonstrates a strong understanding of products and application of them.
- Develops and builds key relationships with customers and cross functional internal teams.
- Other duties as assigned.
