Inside Sales Representative

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Inside Sales Representative to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in providing exceptional customer service, processing orders, and offering product knowledge to our clients. As a key player in our business, you will develop expertise in our product lines and work closely with pro-desks at lumber yards and building supply companies. We are a wholesale distributor and do not sell directly to the public.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage incoming calls, process orders, and provide quotes quickly and accurately.
• Troubleshoot and resolve customer inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
• Stay informed about our products and services to provide knowledgeable support.
• Drive new business by cross-selling, up-selling, and promoting various sales campaigns.
• Collaborate with the Outside Sales Team and internal departments to ensure 100% customer satisfaction.

Job Qualifications:

• Experience in customer service or a call center environment.
• Strong computer skills (MS Office, Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a professional phone demeanor.
• High attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Team player who is self-motivated and works well across departments.
• Good math skills for accurate quote calculations.
• Associate’s Degree in Business or related field, or at least 2 years of progressive customer service experience.
• Prior experience in the building materials industry is a plus, but not required—training is provided.
• Background in logistics or supply chain is a plus.
• Bilingual skills are a plus.
