What You'll Do:
As the Inside Sales Representative, you will research, plan, and execute on sales initiatives to maintain and grow sales for the Company while building long-term relationships with existing customers. You will also assist in other manufacturing areas as needed to meet business goals.
Your Accountabilities in the Role:
- Plans, and executes sales initiatives and strategies assuring they are aligned to the organizational revenue and profitability goals.
- Manages and grows a portfolio of customer accounts by providing exceptional service and support to meet sales goals.
- Responds to customer inquiries, provides product specifications and offers solutions to meet customer needs.
- Develops and maintains ongoing relationships with existing and potential customers to maintain and grow sales.
- Assists in identifying and selecting new equipment for customers and prepares accurate and competitive quotes that meet and satisfy customer needs and requirements.
- Tracks and manages quote requests, ensuring timely responses and follow-up with customers.
- Monitors and manages inventory levels to ensure product availability meets customer demands.
- Works closely with manufacturing team to understand production schedules and lead times.
- Assists the manufacturing team as needed to meet order deadlines and customer satisfaction.
- Assists in resolving any issues or challenges related to manufacturing processes that may impact customer orders.
- Maintains files, customer contact information, and other data in an organized way to enhance the department.
Position Requirements:
- Education: HS Diploma required; will consider a combination of education and related experience.
- Experience: 5+ years of Technical Sales experience within a related manufacturing industry preferred.
- Certifications: NA
- Functional Skills: Self-motivated, forward thinker with the ability to research, plan, and execute sales and marketing initiatives; excellent prioritization and organizational skills with a strong business and technical skillset. Ability to sell solutions-based products. High attention to details and follow-through to close sales. Ability to work collaboratively across departments and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Flexible to move around as needed to meet business goals. Experience with manufacturing machines, or someone who is mechanically inclined is preferred.
- Technology Skills: Average Office 365 and ERP/CRM skills. Experience with AutoCAD Inventor would be a plus.
- Language Skills: Solid written and verbal communication skills.

Other Important Information:
Pay/Salary: Salary Position, Plus Commission! Pay is negotiable based on years of experience.

Reports To: Sales Supervisor / Manager
Core Hours: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm or 7:00 am to 4:00 pm (schedule can be slightly flexible)
Typical Work Week: M-F; 40 hours a week on average
Direct Reports: None
Travel: 5-10% Limited Local Travel (Approximately once a month)
COVID Protocol: No Special Protocol; Individuals can wear masks if desired
