Job Summary:
The Inside Sales Representative establishes and maintains positive relationships with current and prospective clients. The ISR will stay current on developing technologies and develop creative solutions for customers’ low-voltage needs. The ISR ensures that sales for assigned lines of business are developed and closed in accordance with Company goals, policies and procedures
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Meets and communicates with the target opportunities/customers.
- Understands customers’ needs and expectations and provides relevant solutions.
- Handles customer-flow and ensures proper attention to each one.
- Analyzes the choices and financial capacities of each customer and suggests suitable products.
- Offers customer alternatives to their current provider of choice.
- Demonstrates the methods of using products and resolves customer queries.
- Responsible for closing sales deals and achieving customer satisfaction.
- Contact prospective customers, explain details of the different solutions and services offered and convince them to buy.
- Makes efforts to achieve the short-term sales targets and improve goodwill of the organization.
- Operates the CRM (customer relationship management) systems to ensure authentic information is available for the company.
- Establishes and maintains positive relationships with customers and vendors.
- Manages a database of potential customers and contacts them regularly.
- Notes any suggestions or complaints made by the customers and reports them to the regional sales directors.
- Researches any new solutions/products available as well as the marketing strategies used by competitors.
- Records details of every sales transaction in the CRM and submits weekly reports to the VP of Sales.

- Must be self-motivated, positive in approach, professional and lead others to create, develop and implement project process improvement(s).

- Must have a confident, dynamic personality and the ability to persuade clients.
- Must be energetic with exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Must have proven problem-solving skills, critical thinking skills and the ability to effectively read, write and give oral presentation(s).
- Must be goal-oriented with the ability to work with team or individually.
- Must able to travel within regional territory as needed.
- Must be able to learn and teach the Company sales management systems.
- Must be able to secure and maintain a Company sponsored American Express Card.
Education, Certification, License, and Skill Requirements:
- Must possess at least a High School diploma or GED equivalency; Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration preferred.
- Must be an expert in handling CRM software and other common computer software such as Power Point, MS Word, Outlook and MS Excel.
- Must have experience at least seven years’ in customer interface, such as liaison between the customer and the Company.
- Must have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in telecommunications or a related technical or construction field.
- Must meet Company minimum driving standards.
- Must be able to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously.
- Must have verifiable ability to define a prospective customer, create a scope of work, qualify a customer, develop a sales plan and manage proposal submission and review through to customer presentation, closing and operations turnover.
