SUMMARY
Works as a team member with Regional Sales Managers (RSM) to meet company sales objectives. Works independently on managing, contacting and working with all accounts.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Full use of Live system, phone system and other internal system
- Follow all Standard Operating Procedures established for the Sales Department;
- Meet or exceed required call quota daily and call target accounts as assigned which may require contacting potential and existing customers by cold calling, generating sales leads, responding to sales inquiries to secure new and increased business accounts;
- Utilize creativity and initiative in establishing rapport with customers and obtaining pertinent information from customers via the telephone;
- Provide excellent customer service when dealing with inquiries and complaints;
- Learning new products and keeping knowledgeable about changes in existing products;
- Processing price quotes and sample requests;
- Recording opportunities and contact information in LIVE system sharing info with RSM;
- Follow-up on leads generated by direct mail, trade shows, emails, RSM, and website activities as assigned and where appropriate to generate sales;
- Maintain accurate records (update contacts and/or lead information promptly and maintain other records as directed by management;
- Utilize PowerPoint and internet based tools to demonstrate products to potential customers;
- Attend training as directed;
- Maintain a thorough understanding of sales objectives and strategies;
- Coordinate order flow with production and secure best shipping method to meet customer due dates;
- Maintain and expand a database of prospects;
- Keep management informed of activity, including timely correspondence through emails and calls;
- Customer follow up on quotes, proofs, questions concerning their orders or anything else that may pertain to getting their business;
- Collaborate with the marketing team to improve marketing and expand the company's marketing in your territory;
- Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 2 years telemarketing work experience required.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
REASONING ABILITY
- Must have advanced reasoning abilities including the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
OTHER ABILITIES/SKILLS
- Excellent interpersonal and sales skills.
- Proficiency in "lead finding" strategies
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
