What You'll Do:
As the Inside Sales Representative, you will plan, prioritize, and manage new and existing business and accounts to ensure the optimal customer experience that will produce long-lasting relationships and meet/exceed sales and profit goals.
Your Accountabilities in the Role:
- Receives and manages new business leads, and existing contractor requests, understanding their individual needs and creating the optimal customer experience and solution to close the sale.
- Manages all customers in a way that builds effective relationships, provides ongoing customer support, and influences continued sales and/or referrals along the way.
- Liaisons with the customers and the internal teams to ensure the products, delivery time estimates, and other items of the project can be met. Provides feedback to the internal teams from these meetings to continually enhance the business.
- Stays in continual communication with each customer through the selling process, to ensure the customer's needs have been met or exceeded.
- Coordinates a "hand off" meeting of information with Customer Care to ensure a successful project transition and close out the sale.
- Invokes feedback from the customers to find ways to continually enhance the customer experience and internal processes.
- Engages with different departments to stay up-to-date on product basics and new product developments.
- Reviews sales activity and feedback on customers to provide suggestions on ways to improve the processes and sales results.
- Enters data and maintains the CRM on customers, projects, and other information to support the sales process and team.
- Stays up-to-date on product knowledge and sales techniques to align to market trends and customer needs.
Position Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Business or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience: 3+ years of B2C consultative/inside sales experience within a related manufacturing/building materials industry preferred.
- Certifications: N/a
- Functional Skills: Self-motivated, forward thinker with the ability to research, plan, and execute sales initiatives; excellent prioritization and organizational skills with a strong business and technical skillset. Ability to sell solutions-based products. High attention to details and follow-through to close sales. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Demonstrates expertise in product installations as a subject matter expert, with a strong customer and goal-oriented approach. Skilled in independent decision-making.
- Technology Skills: Proficient skills in Microsoft Office and E-commerce support software.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communications skills. Ability to demonstrate and present information to others.
- Leadership/ Behaviors: Strong relational and networking skills with ability to influence others; driven, assertive, competitive, collaborative, intuitive, and goal-oriented, trustworthy, and dependable. Other Important Information:
Pay/Salary: Salaried Position; Base plus commissions. Salary is commensurate with proven expertise.

Reports To: Director of Sales & Marketing
Core Hours: 8:00 am - 7:00 pm (schedule can be flexible; will work approx. 8 hours within this timeframe)
Typical Work Week: M-F; 40 hours a week on average

Travel: Limited - 5%
