What You'll Do:
As the Inside Sales Supervisor, you will plan, manage, and lead the daily operations of the Inside Sales Team, ensuring efficient processes, high team performance, and exceptional customer experiences to meet or exceed sales targets and profit margins.
Your Accountabilities in the Role:
- Plans prioritizes, and supervises the day-to-day activities of the Inside Sales Team, ensuring efficient workflow, task prioritization, and sales metrics are achieved.
- Monitors and evaluates individual and team performance metrics, providing feedback, training, and coaching to ensure sales targets and service standards are met.
- Assigns leads, customer inquiries, and tasks to team members based on workload and strengths to ensure timely follow-up and effectiveness.
- Handles complex or overflow leads to meet individual goals and support the team.
- Listens into customer calls to help understand gaps, opportunities, and areas of enhancement to help build the success of the team.
- Monitors CRM usage and data entered, ensuring the team maintains accurate records of customers, sales activities, and project status.
- Oversees the resolution of customer issues or escalations, collaborating with others departments as needed to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Reviews and provides daily and weekly performance updates to the Supervisor, identifying challenges, gaps, and opportunities to recommend/execute on corrective actions or improvements.
- Reviews and analyzes customer accounts and project statuses to identify potential growth opportunities, renewals, or risks.
- Collaborates with internal teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment, delivery schedules, and post-sale support.
- Stays up to date on product knowledge and sales techniques to align to market trends and customer needs.
Position Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Business or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience: 3+ years of B2C consultative/inside sales experience with 2+ years supervisory/mentoring experience. Experience within a related manufacturing/building materials industry preferred.

- Functional Skills: Skilled in planning, delegating, and prioritizing tasks to manage multiple responsibilities and ensure efficient team operations. Self-motivated, forward thinker with the ability to research, plan, and execute sales initiatives. Strong follow-through to close sales. Capable of assigning and balancing workload based on team strengths and responsiveness to customer inquiries. Strong organization, problem-solving, with detail-oriented data management and analytical skills for tracking performance metrics and identifying growth opportunities or risks. Able to become a subject matter expert in all product installations, with a goal-focused approach to achieve team targets. Strong business and technical skillset with the ability to sell solutions-based products.
- Technology Skills: Proficient skills in Microsoft Office and E-commerce support software.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communications skills. Ability to demonstrate and present information to others.

Other Important Information:
Pay/Salary: Salaried Position; Base plus commissions. Salary is commensurate with proven expertise.

Reports To: Director of Sales & Marketing
Core Hours: 8:00 am - 7:00 pm (schedule can be flexible; will work approx. 8 hours within this timeframe)
Typical Work Week: M-F; 40 hours a week on average

Travel: Limited - 5%
